What you are buying.
Your product page identifies the resource allocation and billing period. Our standard service is a self-managed Linux VPS, not managed application hosting. Your order includes the network and backup options selected in the configurator. Public IPv4, public IPv6 and daily backups with 14-day retention carry no extra charge. Each extra retention day adds 1% of the base monthly VPS price to the monthly charge. Third-party paid licenses, a domain name and managed application administration are not included.
Electronic delivery, not physical shipping.
This is a digital hosting service. We supply server access remotely through the agreed delivery channel. No physical goods are shipped and no shipping charge applies. Physical returns do not apply; cancellation and refunds follow our refund policy. Availability is subject to the locations offered and applicable legal restrictions.
Payment and provisioning.
Access is supplied after payment review and provisioning. The order acknowledgment confirms receipt of your order; our service acceptance or delivery communication confirms the service arrangement. If we cannot supply the ordered service, we will contact you to agree an alternative or refund the amount paid for the unavailable service.
Your server is created and access details are delivered within 10–15 minutes after successful payment, subject to any applicable consumer cancellation-period start arrangements. Access instructions are sent to your order email address.
For a consumer contract with a statutory cancellation period, we will obtain your express request separately before beginning service during that period. Accepting general terms or placing an order is not, by itself, that request. If no valid early-start request is recorded, provisioning must wait until the applicable period ends.
Access and the service period.
We communicate the service start and end or renewal date with delivery details. Do not assume the service is running merely because payment has succeeded. Keep your billing email accessible and contact us if expected access has not arrived.
Location and operating system.
The location selected on the product page is saved in your order. The chosen image, version and compatible control panel are saved with the order. Ask before purchase if you need a version not shown in the configurator. We do not replace an agreed location or configuration without notifying you and obtaining agreement where required.
Maintenance and support.
We handle issues with the underlying purchased service. You handle your operating system, applications and their configuration. Share clear evidence when reporting a problem. Specific response-time targets, uptime percentages or service credits apply only where a written agreement expressly provides them.
Capacity and transfer.
Stay within your plan allocation. Contact us before exceeding transfer or storage limits. Any paid change or additional charge must be disclosed and agreed. Resource exhaustion may affect your application even if the underlying service is available.
End of service and data.
Arrange renewal or export important data before the paid period ends. Do not rely on access or backups being available after termination. We confirm applicable deletion arrangements and address legal retention duties; any processor obligations are handled under the agreed data-processing terms.
Changes to an active service.
Upgrades may require migration or a restart. We agree the scope, price and service impact before proceeding. Contact support@sonatehost.com with your order number.
